Quirky local bar in a residential area near the Miramar CC.

Excellent selection of local, modern beers, which is a welcome relief from the overwhelming SanEstreCampo mass produced stuff found almost universally in the area.

The decor is hip, the staff even hipper. Didn't try the food as the kitchen was shut when we went, however the staff offered to accommodate as best as they could which was a lovely touch.

Would definitely recommend.

Interesting, modest selection of local craft beers. Nice change from regular bars in the area. Small selection of tapas. Simple yet tasty.

Friendly staff. Pub feels like a local's watering hole. Def not a touristy place.

Very friendly staff, great service. We went there two times during our stay in Fuengirola. First time we had 5 tapas and the second time we had burgers. Woods Burger is a must, cooked perfectly. My wife also enjoyed the chicken burger.
The large selection of beers is great. Go and try them out!
Also, the prices are pretty low.

Really nice little quiet bar near some excellent children’s parks. The service was good and friendly and it has seating outdoors as well.

Very Friendly staff, I think it might have been the manager who helped us choose from a range of Spanish craft beers that I was not familiar with. The beer was so good that we visited Woods Bar several more times during our short stay in Fuengirola. I will defiantly return if I visit Fuengirola again.

Don't know how to explain it properly. There's something for everyone here. As a bar, it's great. It's kinda "rustic" but in a tasteful way. There are a plethora of options for IPA people. The online menu, as far as I could tell, only showed beers, but the bar looks well stocked with wines and spirits too.
The food was great. Full disclosure, I am a vegan at home, but will bend on my diet abroad, sometimes including seafood and occasionally dairy. (I generally wouldn't let any other meats go to rot, either if that makes sense.)
We all shared the padron peppers, which are marked as vegetarian and I couldn't really understand why... and also the spicy patatas bravas. I appreciated that the sauce on the patatas was actually spicy. The toddlers had mozzarella sticks that they loved. They also shared the veggie egg and avocado sandwich thing, which they completely annihilated, except they left the bread behind. (Usual behaviour of my children) I had the salmon wrap that was really good, but my wife got the falafel burger. It really shined out of everything I tasted. The falafel was fresh and had an amazing, not mushy but slightly gritty texture that you wouldn't often expect. Unfortunately, it's not on the menu as a vegan option. My assumption is probably because of the sauce.
There are loads of playgrounds nearby for children and this place has a few highchairs.
In terms of constructive criticism, as someone who is generally looking for vegan options, it would be nice to see if some of the veggie options listed on the menu were able to cater for vegans. I know there is a vegan restaurant nearby, but options are always great to have when you try to have a restrained diet I suppose 😅
