I cannot speak highly enough about the delicious food and the hospitality of both the employees and the patrons at Pulpería La Isla! Our servers Adrian, Iria, and the rest of the staff were really warm and very patient helping us navigate the menu despite our very limited Spanish speaking.The food was some of the best I have ever tasted in my life. I have tried pulpo at restaurants all across New York and none of them hold a candle to the delicious meals we had at this restaurant. Yes, that's meals, plural. This is the only restaurant on our whole vacation that we made a repeat visit to, the food is that good. My only regret is that we were having such a good time chatting with the new friends we made at the restaurant that we forgot to tip! If you are an American reading this review and have the pleasure of dining at Pulpería La Isla, please tack an extra couple of euros onto your tip on our behalf!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stop at Pulperia La Isla. The food was good, the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. It is the service that was outstanding. The very friendly and helpful staff made our visit even better. The guy who served us spoke English and was very friendly.
