A small jewel in the heart of Cádiz

An experience we will not forget anytime soon.
Today we had lunch at Ettu, the restaurant located inside Hotel Olom in Cádiz, and we are still absolutely overwhelmed. The food was phenomenal – every dish perfectly balanced, full of flavour and beautifully presented. You can feel the passion and craftsmanship behind every detail.

The service was truly extraordinary – far beyond what you usually encounter, even in high-end restaurants.
A very special mention goes to Christine and Félix. They are true professionals: attentive, warm, incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their work. They made our visit genuinely unforgettable.

What impressed us the most:
• Each course came with its own special cutlery, along with an explanation of its origin and purpose.
• For the steak, we could even choose our own steak knife, a lovely and rare detail.
• Every step of the service was thoughtful, professional and at the same time wonderfully warm.

The atmosphere is stunning: modern, elegant, cosy and full of tasteful details. From the first moment, you feel genuinely welcomed.

The value for money is outstanding; for this quality, this service and the overall experience, we honestly expected to pay much more.

We are already looking forward to our reservation tomorrow evening and excited to see what awaits us. If the first visit was this impressive, the second one will surely be even more remarkable.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This was such a special moment for me during my time in Cadiz. Truly amazing food, amazing service and just such a good vibe!

It really felt like I was taking part in something so special! The bread and butters at the beginning even blew me away!

The starter (shrimp tartar) delicious! The main with the pork cheek canneloni, a taste sensation and to finish with the chocolate Textures, such fun!

I will absolutely be back when I next visit Cadiz

I’ve cooked many cuisines at home and had the privilege of dining at several Michelin-starred restaurants. Ettu delivers on nearly every level — the service is impeccable, the washrooms and décor are spot-on, and the food itself is absolutely incredible. The only thing missing for me was the seasoning — specifically salt — which, if they want to obtain a Michelin-star at some point, makes all the difference in elevating flavours to their fullest potential.

That said, the overall experience was exceptional, and I would happily recommend Ettu to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It’s absolutely incredible!

Very interesting dishes & tasteful combinations in an amazing atmosphere. Every detail is curated. We even got a little desert with a candle on it for my mom's birthday and they sung happy birthday for her 🙂

Michelin star experience ! Great value . Table side preparation. Delicious food. Our waiter, Jian was knowledgeable , attentive & communicative. We travelled 5 weeks in Spain and this was our best restaurant experience. Highly recommend.
