Had read about this restaurant online and really wanted to try their Paella. We arrived without a booking but they had some seats inside so we could be seated immediately. The waiters were initially very attentive and friendly but less so as it got busier. We ordered the Jamon plate and Manchego. Both serves were huge which is great but not if you then are going to eat Paella as well. I would suggest they may be offer a smaller serve option for starters. They also offered us a croquette each free of charge which was very generous. The Paella was definitely worth the visit we had the Alicante Paella which was seafood and Chicken. We washed it all down with Sangria which was lovely and refreshing. Highly recommend visiting for the Paella and Sangria even if the atmosphere not amazing and price can be a bit high.

We are holidaying in Alicante (from Melbourne, Australia), and enjoyed a delicious dinner at El Gosto. The staff are attentive and enchanting. The food is exceptional, and generously sized. We ordered the Squid Ink Paella and the Burrata Salad. They taste like heaven when eaten together. The Sangria was well mixed and ample. I highly recommend El Gosto.

This place is so delicious that even the pigeons are keeping a keen eye on the food! We were eating outside when, to our surprise, a pigeon actually landed on our paella!

The restaurant staff was absolutely wonderful. They immediately ushered us inside and generously brought us a fresh, new serving of paella. Thanks to their amazing service, we were able to enjoy and finish our meal perfectly.

And the Sangria! It was the biggest Sangria we had during our entire stay in Alicante. Also tasty! I'm so glad we chose this spot for our last meal in Alicante. Highly recommended!

Amazing atmosphere with very open and talkative staff. The impression they give is that you are welcome and they do everything for you to enjoy.

We visited this restaurant just before going to a flamenco concert and were delighted with the quality of the food and its unforgettable flavors. They brought us a complimentary set of three croquettes, which was a pleasant surprise. We also enjoyed the grilled octopus and potatoes with jamón. Highly recommended!

The portions are generous, and I have to say this is one of the best pasta alle vongole I’ve ever had — even better than the paella we ordered!
The black ink paella was also delicious, though a bit on the salty side. In general I will recommend this restaurant!

We had dinner at El Gusto Fel Gourmet and it was such a fantastic experience! I went there with my fiancé, and compared to another place we tried the night before, this was on a whole different level.

We ordered a seafood and monkfish paella — the portion was generous and the taste was simply perfect, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Before that, we shared some fried calamari with homemade fries, and they were amazing as well — fresh and delicious.

The restaurant itself is clean, stylish, and very welcoming. Our waiter, Anas, was wonderful — very kind, spoke with us in English, and even recommended a wine that matched our meal perfectly.

Thank you for such a tasty experience! We truly recommend this place with all our heart, and wish you continued success. If you’re in Alicante, don’t miss it!

A fantastic dining experience in Alicante!
From start to finish, the service was outstanding—the waiter even prepared my gin and tonic tableside, which was such a special touch. The paella was served directly in the paella pan and turned out to be one of the best we’ve enjoyed during our travels through several cities in Spain. The garlic shrimp with eel was the true highlight of our lunch—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. To finish, the Catalana Cream dessert was smooth, creamy, and simply unforgettable. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic flavors, warm service, and a memorable meal in Alicante!
